On April 20, 2009 at approx 4:20pm the Monroe County Communications Center dispatched the Tomah Police Department to a complaint of an erratic driver traveling on Superior Ave.  An officer from the Tomah Police Department located the vehicle traveling southbound near the 1200 block of Superior Ave.   The officer activated his emergency lights and siren to conduct a traffic stop.  The driver continued driving erratically and struck a parked car near the 1300 block of Superior Ave.  After striking the parked car the driver continued on and struck a utility pole in front of Kwik Trip South.  Officers made contact with the driver, who at this point was not following the officers request to exit the vehicle.  The subject was removed from the vehicle.  Upon evaluating the driver it was determined that he was having a diabetic reaction.  The driver was transported to the Tomah Memorial Hospital for medical treatment related to the diabetic reaction.
